Join us for six nights of spiritual inspiration, loving community, joyful kiirtan and peaceful meditation! The Ananda Marga Summer Retreat and Kiirtan Festival is an amazing way to start the New Year.

The Spiritual Journey:
Talks with Dada Shambhushivananda

At this special retreat we will look at our different meditation lessons and dive deeply into the philosophical and practical aspects of a spiritual lifestyle. Our special guest, Dada Shambhushivanada is a senior monk of Ananda Marga who travels around the world coordinating Ananda Marga Gurukul which works with Neohumanist education institutions around the world. He is an inspiring speaker and deeply thoughtful teacher.

Venue:

This year we are privileged to be able to use the beautiful Sine Cera Rainforest Retreat. This lovely location is purpose built for spiritual retreats and is located on 200 acres of pristine land adjoining the Border Ranges National Parks.

​

There are two levels of accommodation: Fahr House with private two-bed rooms and the Chalet, with ten beds per room.

Along with our daily routine of collective yoga classes, twice daily kiirtan and meditation and delicious vegetarian meals we will have an exciting program of workshops, classes and evening programs covering many aspects of spirituality, creativity and service.

Learn to work in a circle to promote belonging, connection and communication.

In this workshop we will work in a circle to explore communication and the impact it has on relationship.  Awareness of how we listen and respond helps us to connect with others. We will explore through games and interaction and finish with time to share how we can apply our experiences.

Details:

Please arrive on 28 December after 2 pm. Departure is after breakfast on 3 January. The best airport to arrive is the Gold Coast airport. Please let us know if you need to be picked up. Blankets and pillows are provided, so please bring sheets and a pillow slip and towel. (These times may be rented, but please contact Sine Cera in advance.) Other helpful items: meditation cushion and shawl, comfortable, respectful clothes (revealing or tight clothes are not appropriate at a spiritual gathering), swimmers, notebook and pen, musical instruments and any poetry or other performances or art you would like to share.
